I live in Curacao, which is a small island in the West Indies(Western Caribbean. It's an island that has a population of 140.000 people. It's a tropical island that has a lot to offer. We even have our own desalination plant, that converts salt water into fresh water. We are very popular for our Carnival events which takes place during the month of February. Our island is also wellknown for its dutch style architecture, just come and see our beautiful buildings downtown, you will think you are in Europe.


I'm a highschool student and almost finishing, and i hope to continue my education afterwards and become a nurse, just like my stepmom Sandra. I love to travel and I hope someday I can travel the world and learn more about other cultures and customs.


 

My Favorite Things To Do
I love reading true story books, because they inspire me a lot.
I love to listen to all kinds of music, but my favorite is R&B.
I would love to learn many different languages, besides spanish, English, Dutch and Papiamento which is my native language. I want to be able to communicate to different cultures.
I enjoy doing sports but my favorite of them all is swimming.
I participated succesfully in several swimming competitions on the island, and in Florida.
I love biking but at this time I don't own one myself. I'm using my brother's.

People that i admire most besides my parents are the pop singer Michelle Branch.I also admire people that help other people that are in need.
And i also love my friends.
I admire my stepmother Sandra because she is the kind of person i want to become someday.
